...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT
FOR EAST CENTRAL GEARY...SOUTHEASTERN RILEY...NORTHWESTERN WABAUNSEE
AND SOUTHWESTERN POTTAWATOMIE COUNTIES...
At 719 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles southeast of
Manhattan, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported tennis ball size hail in
Manhattan at 720 PM CT.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Manhattan, Wamego, Ogden, and St. George.
This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 307 and 325.
