showers, some with heavy rain mostly in northwest Arkansas and far
northeast Oklahoma. They were most widespread and heaviest in
Franklin and Madison counties in Arkansas. The precipitation was in
the Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville area. Movement was to the
northeast at around 20 mph. The average amount where it rained last
hour was one tenth to one quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of
an inch to an inch and a half. Coverage and intensity decreased
during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for this evening,
mostly cloudy, a chance of showers and thunderstorms with
temperatures 68 to 71 degrees and southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
