At 642 AM, National Weather Service radar detected a large area of
showers and thunderstorms mostly in Choctaw and Pushmataha counties
in Oklahoma. It was more widespread in southcentral Oklahoma.
Movement was to the southeast at around 20 mph. The average amount
where it rained last hour was one tenth to one quarter of an inch
with maximum amounts of one quarter to one half of an inch. Coverage
and intensity remained about the same as last hour. The Tulsa area
forecast for early this morning, mostly sunny, a chance of showers
and thunderstorms with temperatures 62 to 69 increasing to 72 to 73
degrees and east winds up to 5 mph.
