At 728 AM, National Weather Service radar detected a large area of
showers and thunderstorms primarily in Choctaw and Pushmataha
counties in Oklahoma. It was more widespread in southcentral
Oklahoma. Movement was to the southeast at around 20 mph. The
average amount where it rained last hour was around one tenth of an
inch with maximum amounts of one half to three quarters of an inch.
Coverage and intensity remained about the same as last hour. The
Tulsa area forecast for this morning, partly sunny, a chance of
showers and thunderstorms with temperatures 65 to 73 increasing to
75 to 77 degrees and northeast winds up to 5 mph.
