Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NE Wyoming and WRN South Dakota
National Weather Service Rapid City SD
246 AM MDT Sun Jun 9 2024

.DISCUSSION...There are chances for isolated showers and thunderstorms
today, especially across northeastern Wyoming where a few storms
could be strong to severe. Some breezy southwest winds could
develop across northwestern South Dakota this afternoon with gusts
of up to 25 mph possible. There is a better chance for showers
and thunderstorms over western South Dakota on Monday where some
storms could be strong to severe. These storms may also produce
locally heavy rainfall.

The next few days look warm with highs generally in the 80s with
near daily chances for afternoon showers/storms. Despite the
chances for afternoon showers/storms, conditions will otherwise be
fairly dry. Afternoon RHs on Tuesday through Thursday will be in
the mid 20s to low 30s with the driest conditions across
northeastern Wyoming.
