.DISCUSSION...A weather front over the Western Interior will move west of the
West Coast on Friday. This is causing wet and cool conditions over
Western Alaska today with a few thunderstorms in the West Central
Interior. A low pressure trough aloft will move north over the Western
Interior on Fri causing scattered showers and isolated PM thunderstorms.
A ridge of high pressure aloft building over Northern Alaska on the weekend
will bring much warmer and drier conditions for the weekend with
Red Flag conditions for some low elevations of the Interior Sat and Sun.
