...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING AND OVER THE COASTAL ATLANTIC
FROM PARRAMORE ISLAND TO OCEAN CITY INLET...

The areas affected include...
  Coastal waters from Chincoteague to Parramore Island VA out 20
  nm...
  Coastal waters from Fenwick Island DE to Chincoteague VA out 20
  nm...

At 816 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 7 nm northwest of Chincoteague
Bay to near Assateague Beach, moving east at 25 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Assateague Beach, Chincoteague, Blackfish Reef, Bone Wreck, African
Queen Wreck, and Chincoteague Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
