...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...
The areas affected include...
  Nearshore and open waters of Lake Huron from Alpena to Alabaster...

At 206 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 13 nm west of Greenbush to near
Pinconning, moving northeast at 25 knots.

  Black River around 240 PM EDT.
  Greenbush, Sturgeon Point, and Harrisville around 245 PM EDT.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
