...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN ERIE AND SOUTHERN
NIAGARA COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM EDT...

At 345 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Niagara Falls, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Buffalo, Cheektowaga, Niagara Falls, North Tonawanda, Clarence,
Lockport, Kenmore, Depew, Tonawanda, Amherst, Lancaster,
Williamsville, Grand Island, Pendleton, Akron, Lewiston, Alden,
Youngstown, Fort Niagara State Park, and Sanborn.

This includes Interstate 90 between exits 49 and 51.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
