.DISCUSSION...

Today through Thursday will be rain free with sunny skies as high
pressure moves into the region, with rain chances returning
Thursday night into Friday. Today we will see light winds out of
the north turn to east by late afternoon at 6-8 mph with a few
gusts to 10-15 mph this afternoon. Mixing heights rise to
4000-4500 ft this afternoon with min RH dipping to around 35
percent. Smoke dispersal will be fair to good. RH will be a couple
percent higher on Thursday, dropping to around 37-40%. Winds turn
southerly on Thursday with sustained winds around 10 mph from
late morning through Thursday night and gusts of 15 to 20 mph.
Mixing heights get to around 5000 ft during the afternoon. Smoke
dispersal will be good to excellent by late Thursday morning into
afternoon.
