Search site and General Ely Forecast - Showers will end this evening with dry conditions overnight under clearing skies. There is a 10% chance for an isolated thunderstorm as well. Any rainfall amounts will be around 0.05 inches or less. Winds will become light and variable overnight as temperatures fall into the middle 30s. Sunny and dry conditions are then expected for Wednesday and Thursday with the next chance for showers and perhaps a thunderstorm arriving Thursday evening. Winds Wednesday will be southerly at 5 to 10 mph before turning southeasterly Thursday at 5 to 15 mph with gusts to around 20 mph. Ely Visibility and Ceilings - VFR conditions are expected to prevail over the next 48 hours. A brief dip in visibilities and ceilings to MVFR will remain possible however through about 9PM with the shower activity. Skies then clear overnight with sunny skies expected for Wednesday.
