.DISCUSSION...

Search site and General Ely Forecast -

Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will move off this
morning, mostly likely by 11 AM. Winds will start out southerly from
7 to 12 mph with gusts to 20 mph but will veer to west/southwest
from 5 to 10 mph with gusts to 15 mph. Highs will be in the mid-
seventies.

Tonight expect dry conditions with winds becoming light out of the
southeast by sunrise.

A cold front will bring a chance for more showers and thunderstorms
to the area Tuesday afternoon. Some of the storms could be strong
and produce gusty winds. Highs will be in the mid-seventies and
southeast winds 5 to 10 mph will become southerly from 8 to 13 mph
with gusts around 20 mph during the afternoon.

Ely Visibility and Ceilings -

IFR ceilings this morning will rise to MVFR then to VFR this
afternoon. There will be some MVFR visibility restrictions in any of
the heavier showers or a thunderstorm. MVFR/IFR ceilings will be
possible later tonight along with patchy fog.

Outlook for Tuesday, ceilings improving through the morning to VFR
for a time with MVFR developing late afternoon/evening.
