Gusty northwest winds are expected today as gusts top out around
40 mph, particularly in northern Iowa.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Chances of scattered thunderstorms return Friday night. A few
storms may be strong with small hail, gusty winds and locally
heavy downpours.
