Tonight: Weak high pressure builds into the area with clearing
skies and light winds. Lows will bottom out in the mid to upper 50s.

Sunday: Deep trough in southern Quebec sends another reinforcing
cold front into the area. With the airmass quite dry no pcpn is

be expected especially along and north of I-80. Highs will be in
the mid 70s to lower 80s.

.LONG TERM /MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY/...
Issued at 235 PM CDT Sat Jun 8 2024

Sunday night and Monday: Due to the frontal passage, temperatures
will be somewhat cooler. Lows should drop into the upper 40s
north to the mid 50s south, with highs on Monday in the pleasant
lower to mid 70s.

Tuesday through Saturday: Strong active zonal flow develops
across the northern United States, pulling warmer air into the
forecast area. Temperatures will be turning hot and also it will
become more humid as the week progresses. Readings will be
pushing to around 90 at most locations later in the week, with
dewpoints into the 60s. This far out global models are struggling
with timing and location of any MCS`s that may impact the area.
