...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the
following rivers in Iowa...Illinois...

  Mississippi River at Burlington affecting Henderson, Des Moines,
  Lee and Hancock Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued by Saturday evening at 1000 PM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Burlington.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water affects low lying buildings and
  homes in Montrose and Niota.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 16.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 PM CDT Friday was 16.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.5
    feet just after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
