  Little Sioux River at Spencer affecting Clay County.

  Little Sioux River above Spencer / Highway 18 affecting Clay
  County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Little Sioux River near Milford.

* WHEN...Until Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, minor flooding of low lying agricultural
  lands begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 12.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 12.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow evening and continue falling to around 11.3 feet
    Sunday morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

  of Spencer is flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 11.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 11.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Friday morning and continue falling to around 9.5 feet Sunday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
