In 1934, a thunderstorm produced large hail northwest of Brewster, Kansas. According to a witness, the hail killed rabbits, skinned the backs of cows, and spoiled pastures. Three roads north of Brewster were washed-out. In 2007, thunderstorms produced heavy rainfall resulting in flooded streets in St Francis with water over 1 foot deep. $$
