For the following areas...
Matagorda Bay...

At 952 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Port Lavaca,
moving southeast at 25 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Matagorda Ship Channel, Palacios Bay, Turtle Bay, Matagorda Jetty,
and southern East Matagorda Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
