...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN TULARE COUNTY
THROUGH 445 PM PDT...

At 418 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles south of Whitney Portal Campground, or 11 miles southwest of
Lone Pine, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible. Localized heavy rainfall rates could result in
         nuisance flooding.

Locations impacted include...
Rock Creek Ranger Station, Crabtree Meadow, and Crabtree Ranger
Station.
