...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN COLBERT AND
FRANKLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM CDT...

At 607 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fairview, or 8 miles northeast of Fulton, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Red Bay, Phil Campbell, Belgreen, Vina, Hodges, Malone, Pogo, Cedar
Creek Reservoir, Atwood, and Srygley Church.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
