Hot and muggy conditions are currently in place across central and
eastern Kansas today. Late afternoon temperatures ranged from the
low 80s over north central Kansas, to the low 90s over south
central and southeast Kansas. Heat indices across the Flint Hills
into southeast Kansas were in the 100 to 105 degree range.

Storms are expected to track across western Kansas and southwest
Nebraska this evening and into central and eastern Kansas
overnight, and eventually into Missouri. Some severe storms and
heavy rain will be possible with this activity. By Sunday morning,
storms will be tracking across southeast Kansas into southern
Missouri with this activity still producing some heavy rainfall.

Overnight lows are expected to range from the 50s across most of
Nebraska to the low 70s across central and eastern Oklahoma. Look
for highs on Sunday to range from the 70s across Nebraska and
northern Kansas, to the 80s across southern Kansas into Oklahoma.
