Scattered showers and storms developed a few hours prior to
sunrise across central Kansas with this activity tacking off to
the southeast. This activity was not producing any severe weather.
Early morning temperatures ranged from the upper 50s across
northeast Kansas, to the middle 60s across far southern Kansas.

Scattered showers and storms will continue this morning across
central and southern Kansas with much stronger storms this morning
across southwest Oklahoma. By this afternoon, the majority of the
storms will be over western Oklahoma into southwest Kansas with
mostly dry conditions across the remainder of the Plains. Much of
the same can be expected tonight, with the higher storm chances
from western Kansas into western and southern Oklahoma.

Highs today are expected to range from the 70s across northern
Nebraska to the 80s across the remainder of the Plains. Look for
overnight lows to range from the upper 40s across northeast
Nebraska to the middle 60s across southeast Oklahoma.
