...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WILSON AND NEOSHO COUNTIES
THROUGH 230 AM CDT...

At 154 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles northwest of Chanute, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Chanute, Fredonia, Erie, St. Paul, Thayer, Altoona, Buffalo,
Galesburg, Benedict, Stark, Earlton, Lake Parsons, Chanute Airport,
and South Mound.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
