...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF SOUTHEASTERN
LAFOURCHE PARISH THROUGH 1230 PM CDT
...

At 1149 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
capable of producing a waterspout over marine areas near Leeville, or
10 miles south of Galliano, moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous waters. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs
         and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Golden Meadow, Leeville, and Port Fourchon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in New Orleans.
