Survey Summary:

The National Weather Service in Louisville surveyed storm damage
from the May 26, 2024 event. The survey team found many large
limbs and uprooted trees. Many species of trees were downed,
including large oak trees that have been standing for many years.
This damage is a result of 75-80mph straight-line winds.

Debris littered the streets of Middletown through western Oldham
County. Unfortunately, this event also resulted in one fatality
of an man on Hobbs Station Road in Anchorage.
