At 813 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 10 nm east of Wilmette Harbor to near Montrose Harbor to near Midway Airport, moving east at 25 knots. The strongest storms are currently 10 nm east of Wilmette Harbor. HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and small hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include...
