Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
1041 AM EDT Tue Jun 11 2024

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

An upper level disturbance overhead could create a few showers
this afternoon and evening east of I-95. High pressure will build
in from the west by Wednesday, and a rapid warming trend will
ensue through Friday. A cold front tracks through on Friday which
brings a risk of showers and thunderstorms. Behind the front, high
pressure returns for the weekend with reduced humidity levels. An
extended period of much warmer temperatures is expected going into
next week.
