...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL PONTOTOC COUNTY THROUGH
645 PM CDT...

At 615 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Pontotoc, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pontotoc, Trace State Park, Furrs, Randolph, Troy, Algoma, Chiwapa,
Rough Edge, Pannell, Wallfield, and George P Cossar State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northeastern Mississippi.
