...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN UNION...
NORTHEASTERN PONTOTOC AND CENTRAL LEE COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM CDT...

At 559 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Trace State Park, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Tupelo, Tombigbee State Park, Saltillo, Guntown, Pratts Friendship,
Sherman, Blue Springs, Beech Springs, Skyline, Endville, Chapelville,
Belden, Birmingham, Chesterville, Frog Island, Indian Hills, and
Flowerdale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northeastern Mississippi.
