If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION...High pressure will remain in control through Saturday, with high temperatures peaking today at values 15 to 20 degrees above normal. Humidity values will be relatively low, and instability will be relatively high. Some cumulus clouds will be possible over the fire, with cumulus build ups occurring to the east of the fire. There is a 10 percent chance for a stray thunderstorm over the fire from 2 pm until about 8 pm today, and thunderstorms could bring gusty, quickly shifting winds to 50 mph (although very unlikely). Overnight, expect good to moderate recoveries. Our ridge begins to break down on Saturday and Temperatures will trend cooler and humidities trend higher Saturday. There is another shot for cumulus buildups to the east of the fire once again, but Thunderstorm chances are even lower than 10 percent on Saturday.
