The front will remain over the S waters Mon night as low pressure begins to organize along the front just off the S Carolina coast. The low will continue to organize and move slowly E and NE over the central and northern waters Tue and Tue night while pulling a trailing cold front E over the area. The low will pass E of the northern waters Wed while leaving a stationary front over the southern waters Wed night. High pressure will build over the area behind the low Wed into Thu. The high will drift E of the region Thu night leaving a ridge axis across the waters Thu night into Fri. A cold front will approach the northern Mid- Atlantic coast Fri before moving into the waters Fri night. Navtex station Chesapeake Virginia is offline until further notice.
