.DISCUSSION...Steady rain will continue into tonight as an atmospheric
river continues to move across the area. Rain will transition to showers
around daybreak Monday as the back edge of the heavier precipitation clears
the fire around 0500. Expect an additional 1.00 to 1.50 inches of rain
over the fire through early Monday. Rain amounts will be much lighter on
Monday as scattered shower activity continues through the morning, starting
to decrease in coverage in the afternoon. Rain will be accompanied by gusty
south-southwest winds through tonight, with the strongest gusts on nearby
ridges. Benign onshore flow will then maintain spotty shower activity and
10-15 mph southwest winds through Tuesday. Expect much warmer and drier
conditions to develop mid to late week.
