...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN FREMONT...
NORTHWESTERN CUSTER AND NORTHEASTERN SAGUACHE COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM
MDT...

At 450 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
producing a landspout over Villa Grove, or 51 miles north of Alamosa,
moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Landspouts, wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph, and nickel size
         hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
         could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
         objects.

Locations impacted include...
Villa Grove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
