...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

  Sabine River Near Hawkins affecting Smith, Wood and Upshur
  Counties.

For the Sabine River...including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater,
Longview, Beckville, Logansport...Major flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast. This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Hawkins.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 37.0 feet, Expect major flooding of several thousands
  of acres of pastures and woods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 35.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:45 AM CDT Saturday was 35.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 30.4 feet
    Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    34.3 feet on 12/03/2015.
