...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL NACOGDOCHES...
ANGELINA...WEST CENTRAL SAN AUGUSTINE AND SOUTHEASTERN CHEROKEE
COUNTIES THROUGH 1245 PM CDT...

At 1158 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Forest, or 19 miles south of Rusk, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Diboll, Hudson, Huntington, Alto, Wells,
Morrill, Woden, Pollok, Etoile, Forest, Burke, Shawnee, Clawson,
Central, Redland, and Homer.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 PM CDT for
eastern and northeastern Texas.
