...A CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE US VIRGIN
ISLANDS SURROUNDING WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Anegada Passage east of Virgin Gorda and Saint Croix south to
  17N...
  Atlantic Waters of Puerto Rico AND USVI from 10 NM to 19.5N...
  Caribbean Waters of Puerto Rico from 10 NM to 17N, including the
  Coastal Waters of Saint Croix...
  Coastal Waters east of Puerto Rico, around Vieques, and around and
  just north of Culebra and Saint John...
  Coastal Waters from Cabo San Juan to the waters between Anegada
  Island and Virgin Gorda and North 10 NM...

At 145 AM AST, the Doppler radar and satellite imagery indicated a
cluster with strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to
around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from St Croix to eastern St John, moving north at 15
knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
