.DISCUSSION...A ridge of high pressure will expand over the burn area
starting today, allowing temperatures to warm alongside drying
conditions through the remainder of the week. Temperatures will be
on the increase by Wednesday, warming up to 10 degrees as
compared to Tuesday. Thursday will feature continued warming, but
by 2-4 additional degrees. Under the influence of high pressure,
winds will be generally light at ridgetops and terrain driven
through the drainages and slopes for Wednesday and Thursday. By
Friday, increasing southwesterly flow will bring potentially gusty
afternoon winds over the burn site through at least Saturday.
Humidity will linger in the low- to-mid teens from Wednesday
forward, with increasing middle and high level cloud cover late
Thursday and Friday.
