Survey Summary:
A tornado touched down just north of Highway 212 in Meade County
about 17 miles west of Faith, SD or 9 miles east of Maurine, SD.
The tornado snapped power poles as it crossed Highway 212 and
uprooted trees south of Highway 212. The tornado was estimated to
be on the ground for 7 minutes before dissipating.

The tornado was rated an EF2 with maximum estimated winds of 118 mph
and a width of 50 yards. No injuries or fatalities were reported.
