...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL BIG STONE...SOUTHEASTERN
ROBERTS AND NORTHEASTERN GRANT COUNTIES THROUGH 700 PM CDT...

At 643 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Big Stone Lake, or 7 miles northwest of Big Stone City, moving east
at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ortonville, Big Stone City, Odessa, Lismore Colony, Big Stone Lake,
and Lagoona Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
west central Minnesota...and northeastern South Dakota.
