The next system to bring chances of showers and thunderstorms to the
region today will also pull rather warm air into the northern
plains. A few of the thunderstorms that develop this morning could
become severe, capable of producing large hail and strong winds.
Additional shower chances linger into tonight before things dry out
and cool down by Thursday afternoon.

Highs today will top out in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Lows tonight
will fall into the 50s.
