Today, showers and thunderstorms will track across eastern South
Dakota and Minnesota. Periods of heavy rainfall will be possible,
especially in Minnesota this afternoon and evening. Windy
conditions are also expected this afternoon in the eastern
Dakotas and Minnesota. Slight chances for showers persist
elsewhere across the region. Highs today are forecast from the
lower 60s northwest to the upper 70s southeast.

Temperatures will generally remain below average through the
remainder of this week. Overnight lows will dip into the 30s over
portions of the area the next couple of nights, spreading over
much of the region by Thursday and Friday night. Some frost is
expected, especially in low lying areas. The unsettled weather
pattern continues resulting in areas of rain showers, with the
greatest chances coming Thursday into early Friday.
