...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL BLOUNT COUNTY THROUGH 745
PM CDT...

At 714 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Nectar, or near Cleveland, moving southeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Oneonta, Blountsville, Cleveland, Locust Fork, Allgood, Fairview,
Nectar, Rosa, Easley, Fowler Spring, Clear Springs, and Chamblees
Mill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
central Alabama.
