Spot Forecast for Ft Eisenhower Prescribed Burn Planning...Department Of Defense

.DISCUSSION...Weak high pressure will be over the burn area today
with a weak frontal boundary just offshore of SC and GA. Slightly
drier than normal air will again be over the area with afternoon
minimum RH around 37 percent. Surface winds will be northeasterly
between 5 and 10 mph, with transport winds easterly between 10 and
15 mph. High temperature this afternoon will be around 92, with
heat index values between 93 and 95. An inversion will develop
by sunset, with winds becoming light and variable shortly after
sunset. Patchy fog is possible tonight mainly near area lakes and
rivers.
