Waters from Savannah GA to Altamaha Sound GA extending from 20 nm to
60 nm...

At 619 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located
near Sapelo Channelbuoy 3, or 15 nm northeast of Altamaha Sound,
moving southeast at 15 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 35 knots or greater and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 600 PM EDT, the NERRS site on the south
         end of Sapelo Island measured a 51 knot wind gust.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.
