...HAZARDOUS THUNDERSTORMS IMPACTING THE COASTAL WATERS...

At 1012 PM EDT, a thunderstorm was located 8 nm east of Betsy Ross
Reef, or 11 nm north of R7 Tower, moving east at 40 knots.

  HAZARD...Winds up to 30 knots and small hail.

  IMPACT...Expect briefly stronger winds and suddenly higher waves.
           Small, wind driven hail could damage sails, canvas and
           upholstery. Take down sails if possible.

The thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and poor visibility in heavy rain. Boaters
should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes. Put on a
personal flotation device.
