...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM CDT
FOR KEARNY...WESTERN FINNEY...GRANT...NORTHEASTERN STANTON AND
NORTHWESTERN HASKELL COUNTIES...

At 1011 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Shallow Water to near Holcomb to 7 miles
southwest of Ulysses, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
  Garden City, Ulysses, Holcomb, Hickok, Friend and Ryus.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
