...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM
CDT/915 PM MDT/ FOR EASTERN HAMILTON...WESTERN KEARNY AND
NORTHEASTERN STANTON COUNTIES...

At 957 PM CDT/857 PM MDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a
line extending from 15 miles south of Leoti to near Johnson City,
moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Syracuse, Johnson City, and Kendall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Dodge City.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
