A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for
southwestern Kansas.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT
FOR FORD AND HODGEMAN COUNTIES...

At 1139 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 9 miles north of Jetmore to Wright to near Bloom,
moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...70 mph winds at the Dodge City airport at 1135 pm CDT.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
  Jetmore, Spearville, Ford, Kingsdown, Hanston, Bucklin, Bellefont,
  Windhorst and Gray.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy structure and stay away from
windows.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
