...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN MARSHALL...NORTH CENTRAL
RED LAKE AND CENTRAL PENNINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM CDT...

At 924 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Newfolden, or 18 miles northwest of Thief River Falls, moving
southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Thief River Falls, Newfolden, Plummer, St. Hilaire, Goodridge,
Viking, and Holt.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northwestern Minnesota.
