...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Bell County.

* WHEN...Until 845 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways. Ponding of water on roadways is occurring or
  is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This
    will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying
    and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in
    the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Killeen, Temple, Harker Heights, Belton, Nolanville, Morgan`s
    Point Resort, Salado, Little River-Academy, Rogers, Holland,
    Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Belton Lake, Sparks, Union Grove,
    Prairie Dell, Woodland, Heidenheimer and Cedar Valley.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
